Don't you have enough money to spend or it is expensive?

Updated: May 17, 2023

I read comments on Social media groups for tourism about expensive villas and each time I wanted to analyze it and I wanted to make this post to show the other side, the owner's voice :-).

Let's see the prices at Villa Yanko:

30 Eur/person/day (pre and post-season) - 73 Eur/person/day (peak season) for the family or a group of 10 people.

It's about full price from pre-season to peak season without discount.

Let's see the structure of costs:

18 - 25% agencies commission (average, and sometimes more),

13% tourist value-added tax,

New price after the deduction: 20 - 50 Eur/Person/Day

Other costs (but it takes time to detail them in number):

1. Firm's tax,

2. Cleaning the house each changeover day (300 - 500 Eur),

3. Gardening,

4. Water and watering,

5. Washing bed linens in the professional laundry,

6. Electricity (air conditions in all spaces, tv in all spaces, big fridge with ice and cold water, many decorative lights and regular lamps, amplifiers for liable internet even outside, radio DVD player, hairdryers in all bathrooms, pool pumps, pool lights, lights out, iron, wash machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, completely equipped kitchen with all amenities, Owen, etc. ),

7. Internet, wi-fi,

8. Five packages of Accu for smoke and monoxide detectors, seven for remote controls, and 1 for the garage,

9. Brutto salaries of emploiers (2) + 3 cleaners,

10. Different urgent services (eg. When kitchen and house appliances break down, automatic irrigation watering system, internet routers due to storm, etc.),

11. Annual painting of walls, painting of woodwork such as children's playground, benches, swings, planting of gardens, and treatment of plants from diseases...

12. Damage coverage, buying new bedding, towels, hygiene supplies, etc.

13. On the end but not less important - maintaining and updating Villa Yanko's website, writing articles - blogging on the page, refreshing photos, presentations on social media, etc.

The reservation calendar on the Villa Yanko website is constantly updated because Villa Yanko has an automatic online booking system on its website. That means anyone can book a villa directly on the villa site. When someone books a stay, those dates are marked as crossed out, or no longer available, and the calendar is automatically updated.

After the reservation is successfully made, the guest receives a booking confirmation to the email address indicated in the booking process.

This functional site and its maintenance cost 2,000.00 euros per year.

I hope I haven't forgotten another expense ... if I remember I'll write it - for myself but also for you who patiently came here by reading :-).

Do you still think Villa Yanko (5 stars villa with all the above numerous costs of the owner) is expensive? Or you don't have much money to spend?

The stay for 8+2+1 people in a luxury entire villa with a pool and sea view?
