Natur Park Biokovo Skywalk - walk on glass at 1228 m above sea level

The new tourist attraction in Biokovo Nature Park is located above Tučepi and above the Villa Yanko, in Makarska Riviera on the Dalmatian coast. It's Biokovo Natur Park heritage and it increases numerous visitors to the Park every day and every season, except during winter - closing time.
This attraction is not far from Villa Yanko and it's visible from Yanko's terrace towards the mountain Biokovo. The distance from Biokovo Nature Park entrance to the Skywalk is 13 kilometers. It takes about 30 minutes by car to reach Biokovo Skywalk from the main entrance. The main entrance to Natur Park Biokovo is 800 meters far from the Villa Yanko.
There's a car park next to the Skywalk, so, you can get out and enjoy the attraction.
The construction of the Skywalk viewpoint, 1228 m up Biokovo mountain at Ravna Vlaska pass. The glass viewing platform, which protrudes out 12 m from the cliff of the mountain, is just one of the features of the 34,2 million kunas. New educational programs and content increase the attractiveness of our destination too.
Visiting time
During the year the Park is officially open for visiting and sightseeing according to the following schedule:
April 1 - June 1st from 8a.m to 7 p.m.
From June 1st to September 30; 6 a.m.- 8 p.m.
October 1 - November 27; 8 am - 4 pm
December 28 - April 1; not officially open

Every visitor or organizer entering the main entrance to the Park must purchase a ticket, and present it at the request of officials.

To the Skywalk Biokovo leads The Biokovo road. Skywalk has located approximately 13 km from the official entrance to Biokovo Nature Park ( 13,8 km away from Villa Yanko). It is the highest road in Croatia. Biokovo Natur Park's main entrance sits at 365 meters. From there to Biokovo's highest peak Sveti Jure, at 1762 meters stretches Biokovo Road, which is the highest road in Croatia. It is 23 km long, has one lane, is only 3-4 meters wide in places, and requires careful driving. Therefore, lay-bys exist every 300 meters to allow passing.
Entrance is allowed for vans, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians. Due to the traffic characteristics of Biokovo Road, buses are forbidden to enter, and trucks can only enter with a special permit from Nature Park. The road serves the locals who have livestock or farmland on Biokovo, mountaineers, picnickers, and transmitters and links staff who maintain the FM / DVB-T transmitter on St. Jure.
